About Us
Helping Real Estate Agents Turn Property Footage Into Cinematic Video
We are a small, specialist video editing team working exclusively in real estate — listings, drone footage, walkthroughs and now AI-assisted photo-to-video. No generalist agency, no junior queue. Every edit is cut by someone who edits property video every day.
24–48h standard turnaround · 2 revision rounds · 16:9 and 9:16 delivered · Unbranded MLS versions on request

Who We Are
Real Estate Video Editor is a specialist post-production team. We do one thing — we take raw property footage (and, increasingly, raw property photos) and turn it into video an agent can actually use to sell a listing: on the MLS, on Instagram and TikTok, in email campaigns, on YouTube.
Build this block: team photo — the editors behind Real Estate Video Editor at work
We are not a general video agency that also does real estate. Real estate is the entire business. That distinction matters more than it sounds — a wedding editor and a corporate editor both make “nice video,” but neither knows why a listing video needs an unbranded MLS cut, why a 9:16 crop has to be reframed shot-by-shot rather than centre-cropped, or why a drone clip and an interior clip shot on different cameras need to be colour-matched before they’re cut together. We learned those things by editing thousands of minutes of property footage, not by reading a brief once.
It’s still a small operation by design, not scale limitation — when you email [email protected], a member of the actual editing team reads it and replies. There’s no support queue and no account manager relaying messages between you and the person doing the work.
The team works remotely and serves agents, photographers, brokerages, property managers and developers across the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.
Our Journey
We didn’t start out editing real estate video. Between us, the team’s early editing work was a mix of freelance corporate video, YouTube channel editing and small-business promo work — the kind of generalist editing most people start with. Real estate wasn’t the plan. It became the plan because of a pattern we kept running into.
Working with photographers and agents on one-off jobs, the same complaints came up every time: turnaround was slow, the editor didn’t understand MLS formatting rules, colour grading looked inconsistent between the drone shots and the walkthrough, and vertical cuts for social were an afterthought — usually just a cropped version of the horizontal edit, framed badly, with no captions.
That gap was the opening. We started taking on real estate jobs specifically, built a repeatable workflow around the parts that generalist editors kept getting wrong — colour-matching mixed camera sources, shot-by-shot vertical reframing, MLS-compliant unbranded exports, consistent 24–48 hour turnaround — and stopped taking non-property work entirely. What began as a handful of listing edits a month became the full-time, full-team operation this site represents.
The lesson that stuck from that early period: agents and photographers don’t need a more creative editor. They need a faster, more consistent one who already understands the format rules before the footage even arrives. Everything about how we work now is built around that. The full version of this, including the mistakes, is on the Our Story page.
Why We Built This Website
Real Estate Video Editor exists for three reasons.
- To offer the editing service we wished existed when we were the ones scrambling to find a reliable property video editor — fast turnaround, correct formats, fair pricing, no surprises.
- To share what we’ve learned, in public, rather than keep it as a private workflow advantage. The guides section covers software choice, drone editing, shot lists, vertical reframing and pricing — the same questions agents and photographers ask us directly, answered openly whether or not you ever hire us.
- To build the AI video maker for the agents and photographers who don’t have footage at all yet — only listing photos — and need a fast, on-brand video without waiting on a full production shoot. It’s the same problem from the other direction: getting property video made faster and with fewer format mistakes.

Our Editing Philosophy
Five things we hold every edit to, regardless of price tier.
Turnaround over polish-for-its-own-sake
A brilliant edit delivered in nine days is worse than a very good edit delivered in two. Listings have closing dates. We build our workflow around 24–48 hours because that’s the window that’s actually useful to an agent.
Story, not just footage in order
A listing video should move a viewer through the property the way a good in-person showing does — exterior, entry, the room that sells the house, then the rest. Clip order is a decision, not a default.
Clean cuts, no gimmicks
No spinning transitions, no stock whoosh effects. Hard cuts and simple crossfades, timed to the music or the walk pace. The property is the content — the edit shouldn’t compete with it.
Colour correction as standard
Every clip is white-balanced and matched to the others before export, every time — not an optional add-on. Mismatched colour between rooms is the fastest way to make a listing video look amateur.
Built for conversion, not showreels
We’re not editing for a portfolio. We’re editing to help a specific listing sell or a specific brand look consistent. That means format compliance, captions where they help, and a clear call to action — not just “nice video.”
Honest about limits
If footage is unusable — badly exposed, shaky beyond stabilising, missing a key room — we say so before editing rather than delivering something we know is weak and hoping it passes.
Our Goals
What we’re building toward, in order:
| Goal | What that means |
|---|---|
| Expand the free resource library | More format guides, more platform-specific breakdowns, updated as platforms change their specs |
| Publish real case studies | Before/after breakdowns on actual client projects, once we have a portfolio of client-approved examples to show — see the note below |
| Build a public video example library | A browsable set of full edits, not just clips, so you can judge quality before you hire us |
| Release reusable templates | Title card packs and LUTs for agents and photographers who edit their own footage |
| Grow the AI video maker | More template styles and longer output as the underlying technology improves |
Note on proof: we intentionally haven’t published fabricated case studies, stock testimonials or stock “client” video. What you see on this site — pricing, workflow, turnaround — is accurate today. Client case studies, named testimonials and a video portfolio will be added as real projects are completed and clients agree to be featured, not before.
