Real Estate Video Editing Pricing

Standard listing video editing starts at $99. Most projects fall between $99 and $299 depending on length, drone integration and turnaround. Every price on this page is what you actually pay.

We publish pricing because the most common question in this industry goes unanswered by almost every provider. Here is the answer.

24–48h standard turnaround · 2 revision rounds · 16:9 and 9:16 delivered · Unbranded MLS versions on request

What affects the price

If you want to understand why one project costs more than another, these are the actual drivers.

  • Source footage duration. 20 minutes of raw footage takes materially longer to review and select from than 6 minutes.
  • Number of clips. 60 clips means 60 colour decisions. 20 clips means 20.
  • Drone integration. Colour-matching two camera systems adds roughly an hour to any project.
  • Output length. A 3-minute film is not twice the work of a 90-second edit — it is closer to three times, because pacing gets harder as length increases.
  • Graphics complexity. A standard lower third is quick. A custom animated title package is a build.
  • Revision expectations. Most projects use one round. Projects with committee approval use more.
  • Turnaround. Rush work displaces scheduled work, which is what the surcharge pays for.

What the market charges

For context while you compare. These are 2026 market figures, not our prices.

Provider typeTypical price per video
Low-tier freelancer$10 – $30
Freelance marketplace$30 – $150
Dedicated outsource shoparound $140
Us$99 – $299
Mid-market US project work$300 – $800
Marketing agency$400 – $900+
High-demand metro$1,000 – $2,500

We sit deliberately at the lower end of the professional band. We are not the cheapest option available and we are not trying to be — at $30 nobody is colour-matching drone footage to interior footage.

What is not included

  • Filming — we edit, we do not shoot. See production if you need the shoot arranged.
  • Travel or on-site attendance of any kind
  • Drone piloting or drone licensing
  • Licensing of music you supply yourself — that is your responsibility
  • Virtual staging unless purchased as an add-on
  • Paid advertising, media buying or posting to your accounts

Pricing FAQs

How much does real estate video editing cost?

Our editing runs from $99 for an Essential Listing Edit up to $299 for a Luxury & Drone Edit, with volume pricing from $75. The broader market runs from around $30 on freelance marketplaces to $2,500 in major metros for full agency production.

Do I pay before or after?

For first projects we take payment on approval of the final draft. For ongoing partner accounts we invoice monthly in arrears.

What if I do not like the result?

You have your included revision rounds to direct changes. If the first draft has genuinely missed the brief we will re-edit it rather than count that as a revision. If we cannot get it right, you do not pay.

Is there a minimum order?

No. One video is fine. Volume pricing simply applies automatically once your monthly count crosses a tier.

Do you charge for footage you do not use?

No. Send everything you shot. We charge for the output, not the input.

Do prices include both aspect ratios?

Yes, on every package, along with branded and unbranded versions. We do not charge separately for formats you obviously need.

Can I get a fixed price before committing?

Yes. Send your footage or describe the project and we will confirm a firm price and a delivery date within 4 business hours. The quote is the price.

Do you offer a discount for a first project?

For photographers and brokerages evaluating us as an ongoing partner, the first edit is free. See outsourcing.

Value maths

How to work out what you should be paying

Cost per delivered asset across horizontal, vertical, branded and unbranded video files

Rather than asking whether a price is high or low, work out your cost per usable asset and your cost per hour saved. Both are more useful than the headline number.

CalculationEssential $99Cinematic $179Luxury & Drone $299
Video files delivered245
Cost per file$49.50$44.75$59.80
Your editing hours saved2.03.05.0
Cost per hour saved$49.50$59.67$59.80
Break-even vs your time at $75/hrYes at 1.3 hrsYes at 2.4 hrsYes at 4.0 hrs

If your own time is worth more than about $50 an hour, outsourcing a listing edit pays for itself on the first video. That is the whole argument, and it is why photographers move to outsourcing long before agents do.
