Why every video gets its own page

Most editing companies put thirty videos in one gallery. That produces one indexable URL, a page that takes eight seconds to load, and no way for a prospective client to understand what was actually involved in any individual project.

We give each video its own page because a portfolio is evidence, and evidence needs detail. Each page carries:

  • The video itself, playable above the fold
  • Property type, size and context
  • The source footage: how many clips, what camera, what drone
  • The specific techniques applied in post — colour matching, stabilisation, speed ramping, sound design
  • Duration and every format delivered
  • The turnaround actually achieved on that project
  • A before and after comparison where we have one
  • A transcript or timestamped shot breakdown
  • A link to the service that produced it

What to look for when judging property video

Whether you are assessing our work or a competitor’s, these are the things that separate a professional edit from a competent one.

  1. Does the colour stay consistent between rooms? Watch the walls as the camera moves from a window-lit room to an interior one.
  2. Can you see the cut from drone to interior? If the aerial footage looks like a different property, nobody matched the cameras.
  3. Does the pacing change? Every shot the same length is a slideshow.
  4. Does the music land on the cuts? Its absence is felt even when it is not consciously noticed.
  5. Is the vertical version reframed or cropped? Check whether the subject is still in frame.
  6. Is there any warping from over-stabilisation? Look at straight lines near the edge of frame.
  7. Is the text inside the safe zone? Play it on a phone and see what the UI covers.
