Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you commission editing or AI video work from Real Estate Video Editor.

This is not legal advice. These policies are written to accurately describe how Real Estate Video Editor actually operates today. Before relying on them for compliance, have a licensed attorney in your operating jurisdiction review them — data protection law (GDPR, CCPA and equivalents) is jurisdiction-specific and changes over time.

What we provide

Real Estate Video Editor provides video editing and post-production services, and AI-assisted photo-to-video generation, for real estate property marketing. We do not provide videography, photography or drone piloting services — you supply the raw footage or photographs, or arrange for them to be shot, and we edit or generate the finished video.

Quotes, acceptance and payment

Quotes provided via our quote request page or by email are estimates based on the information you provide; a firm price is confirmed once we’ve reviewed your footage or brief. A quote is not a booking — work begins once you confirm acceptance and, for first-time clients, once payment is received. Returning clients may be invoiced on delivery at our discretion. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at checkout.

Turnaround

We commit to the turnaround stated at the time of quoting — 24–48 hours standard, 12 hours rush (+30%), or under 8 hours same-day (+50%), subject to capacity. If we miss a turnaround commitment through our own fault, see our Refund Policy for the applicable remedy.

Revisions

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds (see current pricing for the exact count per package). A revision round means changes within the scope of the original brief — reordering shots, adjusting pacing, swapping music, minor colour adjustments. Requests that materially change the brief (new footage, a different property, a different video length) are treated as a new project and quoted separately.

Your responsibility for footage rights

You confirm that you have the right to use any footage, photographs, music or other material you supply to us, and the right to have a property filmed or photographed for marketing purposes. We are not responsible for verifying property access rights, listing authorisation, or third-party content rights in material you provide.

Music licensing

Music included in our standard packages is drawn from a licensed commercial music library covering use in real estate marketing video across the platforms we deliver to (MLS, social media, YouTube). This licence does not extend to unrelated commercial use (broadcast advertising, paid media campaigns beyond organic social) — tell us if you need broader rights and we’ll confirm what’s available. If you supply your own track, you are responsible for its licensing.

Ownership

Once paid in full, you own the finished, delivered video outright and may use it however you like. You also retain ownership of any source footage or photographs you supplied. We do not retain rights to reuse your delivered video or your source material in our own marketing, portfolio or elsewhere without your separate written permission.

Confidentiality

We treat unreleased listing details, off-market properties and any information you mark confidential accordingly, and will sign a mutual NDA on request at no charge.

File retention

Project files are retained for 60 days after final delivery, as described in our Privacy Policy, then deleted from any storage we control.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost business or lost listing opportunities, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business evolves. The current version, with its last-updated date, always applies to new orders placed after a change; ongoing projects are governed by the terms in place when you accepted the quote.

Confirm before launch: the sections below reference “the company” rather than a specific registered legal entity, and do not name a governing-law jurisdiction. Fill in your registered business name, address, and the jurisdiction whose law will govern disputes once the business is formally registered — we can’t invent those details for you.
